Normandy 6th-9th July 2020 Yr9-10

The trip offers the chance to see first-hand the impact of various historical events upon Europe. This offers the ideal opportunity for the GCSE Conflict and Tension, Norman England, and Germany units to come to life. The provisional itinerary includes visits to: the American cemetery, the Arromanches 360 cinema, the Batterie de Maisy, the Bayeux Tapestry, the British Cemetery, the D day museum Musee du Debarquement, the German Cemetery La Cambe, the Peace Memorial in Caen, and the Pegasus Bridge Memorial Museum.
