STUDENT COUNCIL CONFERENCE 22nd April 2020

Trip overview

As a valued member of Aston’s Student Council, your son has been invited to attend a Student Council Conference on Wednesday Aprill 22nd at King Edward VI Handsworth Girls Grammar School. The conference builds on the success of the first ever conference of the Schools of King Edward VI Academy Trust, initiated by Aston in 2018, and subsequent conferences held at Camp Hill and Five Ways. It promises to be an enjoyable day, celebrating the successes of this year’s Council and learning from other Councils across the foundation. The focus this year will be on improving the environmental practices and impact of the schools of King Edward.

The event is free and takes place during school hours. We will be leaving by minibus at 8:40am and will be returning to school in time for the normal end of school day at 3:35pm. Your son will be expected to contact their teachers for all lessons they will be missing that day and ensure that they catch up on any work missed in their absence.
