VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE AFFECTING ALL OUR MATCH DAY PARKING CUSTOMERS

Due to large scale building work at school starting Easter 2019 we will NOT be able to accommodate ANY pay on the gate/day public parking AFTER the Bristol City game on 13th April 2019.

There will be NO pay on the gate parking on school site for the whole of 2019/20 season going into the 2020/21 season. There will be NO public parking for the last two games of this season; Millwall game on Monday 22nd April 2019 and the Norwich game on Sunday 5th May 2019.

This means you will not be able to park with us for the foreseeable future.  We are very sorry but the space for parking on site will be halved and there will be NO pay on the gate/day £6 parking for our regular home customers or any away supporters, on those two match days nor the whole of the 2019/20 season.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this will clearly cause

The car park will be open for prepaid permits only.  We are renewing permits as usual over next couple of months and a small number of supporters can be added to the existing waiting list as we will be able to accommodate a small number of new permit holders on the big upper playground and eventually on a new off site carpark.

Please e mail your interest asap to paparkingpermits@keaston.bham.sch.uk, but please be prepared to find a new place to park for the time being.

Please help us manage what will be a very tricky situation by not attempting to park with us on those two days or next season but we would love you all to come back for the 2020/21 season as the scheme raises so much money for the boys.

Please check updates at the school website https://www.keaston.bham.sch.uk/parents/aston-villa-match-day-secure-site-parking/ and Villa web site for alternative parking.

Thank you for all your previous support and for your forbearance for what will be a tricky time ahead

Alternative Parking

  1. 50 car parking spaces only at King Edward VI Aston School Playing Fields, 79 Trinity Road B6 6LS

Additional parking here is weather dependent but on a fine day when there has been no rain there is parking on the grass for a large number of cars.

IMPORTANT NOTICE AFFECTING ALL OUR PERMIT SCHEME CUSTOMERS

Due to large scale building work at school, starting Easter 2019 we will NOT be able to accommodate ANY pay on the gate/day public parking after the Bristol City game on 13th April 2019. The number of parking spaces on site will be halved and we can only park the prepaid permit holders for the foreseeable future.

The KEA PA Match Day Parking Scheme will still be running but only for our prepaid permit holders and the parking arrangements will change significantly.  There will be NO pay on the gate/day parking for the Millwall on Mon 22nd April nor the Norwich on Sun 5th May. and none for next season 2019/20.  We hope to resume in 2020/21.

The Upper Thomas St top gate will be permanently closed and the drive will be dug up so we will be bringing numbered permit holders 1 to 50 and a small number of people displaced from the bottom playground 1001 to 1005 80,81,1082 onto site via a temporary gate from Upper Thomas St straight onto the Upper Playground where you will be parked but it will not be in a numbered space.  You will also leave via this gate.

It is our intention to park the displaced permit holders using the parking plan always followed on the top playground.

For the the permit holders still using the bottom playground and numbered spaces by the main school buildings ONLY we will be using the Frederick Road bottom gate to access and exit during the building works.

Please aim to park much earlier whilst we all work this out, we anticipate local congestion turning people away.

We are permanently losing a number of numbered permits spaces from by the top gate and the drive for which we can only apologise but we will keep our permit holders informed of the changes.  As it is renewal time for 2019/2020 season permits we appreciate you may have questions and you are welcome to contact Kate on paparkingpermits@keaston.bham.sch.uk,or me on pacarparking@keaston.bham.sch.uk

Thank you for all your previous support and for your forbearance for what will be a very tricky time ahead.
