Remote Learning
In the event that the school is unable to open for in-person learning (for example, due to severe weather or other exceptional circumstances), remote learning provision will be put in place to ensure continuity of education for all students. Our aim is to provide a broad, balanced and high-quality curriculum that closely reflects students’ normal timetable and classroom experience, while also recognising the challenges of learning from home.
Learning will be delivered through a combination of live lessons, recorded materials and independent tasks, primarily via Microsoft Teams. Students are expected to engage with their lessons, complete assigned work and maintain regular communication with their teachers so that they continue to feel part of the school community.
Parents and carers play an important role in supporting engagement, helping to establish routines and ensuring students are able to access learning effectively.
The documents below provide further detail about our remote learning expectations, provision and guidance to help families support students during periods where learning must take place at home.
